Geraldine Purvis

Geraldine Purvis, age 92, passed away on March 20th, 2026. Born on April 20th, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Pearl Brewster and Irene Howe Brewster.

Geraldine devoted much of her career to medical billing at Christ Hospital. In her spare time, she loved to cheer on the Cincinnati Reds, relax by listening to the music of Willie Nelson, and travel to Atlantic City with her sister Janet. She also enjoyed Bingo outings, visiting the zoo, and making taffy for her family. She was a devoted member of Rosedale Baptist Church where her faith guided her throughout her life. She was known to have a giving heart and would spent countless hours helping the less fortunate, especially during the holidays. 

Geraldine is survived by her son, Eddie Brewster; grandson, Christopher Bullock, who she cared for since his childhood; stepdaughter, Wanda; granddaughter, Melissa; nieces, Melanie and Rene; and her nephews, Jimmy and Bill.

Geraldine will be laid to rest at the Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, Kentucky.
