Georgia Mae Tolliver

Mrs. Georgia Mae Tolliver, age 74, of Sparta, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. Born June 10, 1938, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Dan and Flora Belle Jones Washington and the widow of Joe Tolliver, Jr. Mrs. TOlliver was a homemaker and a member of the Owenton Second Baptist Church. She also worked for Farm Credit Services and was a member of the Gallatin County Homemakers. Surviving are her son Maurice (Felicia) Tolliver of Union KY; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Owenton Second Baptist Church on Friday, September 7th from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm. Burial will be in the Park Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Christopher Hagan presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the Owenton Second Baptist Church.
