George Young

George Young, 87, of Sparta, passed away Friday, December 3rd, in Lyon County, KY. Born September 17, 1922 in Gallatin County, he was the son of the late William and Ruth Young and was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Young and his son Donald Ray Young. George was a retired landscaper and a member o the Poplar Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Ed (Carolyn) Young of Princeton; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the Main Street funeral home, on Monday, December 7th from 5-7pm. Private graveside services will be held at a later time.
