George Franklin Sparks

George Franklin Sparks, age 71, passed away Saturday, November 24th. He was the son of the late Clarence Sparks and Stella Estes. He was also preceded in death by a son, Robert A. Sparks as well as five brothers and sisters. George served his country in the United States Army and was a retired supervisor for the Litton Company. He had most recently worked for P&G Welding and Fabrication. George is survived by his wife; Joan Kay (Marksberry) Sparks. Two sons: Paul Sparks of Marengo, IN and Gregory Franklin Sparks of Corydon, IN; one daughter: Terrie Pulliam Sparks of Rising Sun, IN; one foster son: Eddie Hatfield of Burlington KY, one foster daughter: Connie Hodges-Hatfield of Union, KY two sisters: Lula King of Hammersville, OH and Gladys Fortner of Price Hill, OH. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 28th, from 5 until 8pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 29th, and will begin at 1pm. Bro. Davon Huss will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Warsaw Cemetery.
