George Kramer

George Kramer , age 81, of Owenton, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 at his home. Born November 27, 1933, in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late George and Marie Fayard Kramer and was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Carol Rash Kramer and his son, Donald Scott Johnson. George was a well decorated, detective in the homicide division of the Cincinnati Police Department. He retired as a polygraph examiner, an area where he received many commendations. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his children, John William Kramer, George Kramer III, Rachele Kramer and Kim Kramer; sixteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and his sister, Helen Rogers. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday at 11am. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Bro.
