George Dennis Callaghan Sr.

George D. Callaghan Sr., 81, passed away Sat. Dec. 5 2015 in Lexington. He was born in Owen County the son of the late Mike and Elaine Goodrich Callaghan. He was also preceded by his sister Louella and first wife Imogene. George served in the Army was a farmer most of his life enjoyed bees and hunting. Surviving are his wife, Linda, and his three sons, George, Mike and Chris Callaghan. Five grandchildren Kara, Bryan, Elaina Jo, Kristen and Mike Jr. and seven great grandchildren also survive. Visitation is Wednesday Dec. 9 from 5 to 7 with a Memorial Service at 7PM at McDonald & New - Seminary St. Memorials may be made to Hospice or Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
