Geneva Brenda Varner

Owenton-Geneva Brenda Wright Varner, 68 of Owenton died Monday at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Robert D. and Lucy B. Clifton Wright. She was also preceded in death by a step-son; James Varner, two brothers; Marvin Thomas Wright and Howard Donald Wright. She was a member at the Macedonia Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband; James Elbert Varner of Owenton, one step-daughter; Cindy Brown of Falmouth. Four grandchildren; Eric Varner, Sara Varner, Kelsei Brown, and Dakota Brown. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at the McDonald and New Funeral Home on Main Street at 1:00pm. Visitation will begin at 10am Thursday morning. Burial will be in the Jonesville Cemetery.
