Gary Allen Woolums

Gary Allen Woolums, 45, of Frankfort passed away Saturday at the New Horizons Medical Center. Born January 22, 1965 he was the son of the late Lillard Woolums and Norma Ellis Woolums of Frankfort. His brother Donnie Woolums also preceded him in death. Gary was a former employee of the Commonwealth of KY Department of Transportation and worked on the Bridge Repair Crew. He was a member of the Beechwood Assembly of God. He is survived by his wife, Taressa Perkins Woolums whom he married on February 7, 1986; his children, Tyler and Chastity Woolums of Frankfort and Megan Woolums of Shelbyville. His brother Wayne (Donna) Woolums of Shepherdsville; two sisters, Dianne and Vickie Woolums of Frankfort and one grandson Gehrig Allen Harvey also survive. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location, Wednesday, June 23rd, from 9am - 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm, with ro. David “Milkweed” Wotier presiding. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Woolums Family
