Gary Craig Baker

Gary Craig "Big Gary" Baker, age 60, passed away on December 24, 2022 at his home, in Covington. Born March 13, 1962, he was the son of the late Linville Clay "Pete" Baker and Sarah Loretta Thacker Baker. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Homer Baker, Linda Hall, Ricky Baker and Teresa Risch. Big Gary was an avid outdoorsman. He spent hours fishing, hunting, and shooting. He was proud of his truck and was known to be hard working. Above all else, he loved his family. Big Gary will be missed by his children Gary Craig Baker II, Stacie Baker, Austin, Morgan, Devon Starner and Darian Harmon. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Sylas, Brody, Cameran, Kayson, Kayden and Ensley; his sisters, Sharon Schulkers, Donna Baker and Ciera Holcher. New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the Main Street location. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm and burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
