Garland Toole

Louis 'Garland' Toole, age 81, of Owenton, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at Gallatin Healthcare in Warsaw. Born September 14, 1934, in Owen County, he was the son of the late Tom and Birdie Coleman Toole and the widower of Addie Sue Jackson Toole. Garland was a retired farmer. Surviving are his sons, Mark Garland (Sandy) Toole and Michael Lynn Toole and his daughter Susan Michelle Toole. Three grandchildren, Lauren (Jason) Anderson, Heather (Tink) Haydon and Tyler Toole and a great grandson Thomas Simms Haydon, V also survive. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 11am until 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Todd Toole presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to the Gallatin Healthcare Activity Fund.
