Franklin D. Gordy

Franklin D. Gordy, age 74, of Carrollton passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital. Born September 7, 1941 in Owen County, he was the son of the late Archie and Stella Lusby Gordy. Frank was a mechanic and a farmer. Surviving are his wife, Beverly Thornton Gordy; his sisters, Lucille Covey, Peggy Perkins, Billie Jewell and Bonnie Sullivan; his sister in law Vanessa (Ronnie) Woods and several nieces and nephews including, Micah Woods, Joshua Tudor and Ronnie Ray Woods, Jr. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
