Frankie Wainscott

Owenton – Frankie Wainscott, 73, of Owenton died, Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the Harborside Healthcare Center. Born January 10, 1935, in Owen County he was the son of the late Raymond and Ruby Prather Wainscott and was preceded in death by his sons, Kelly Joe Wainscott and Kavin Baker and his sisters, Wanda Newman, Viola Wainscott and Joyce Covington. Frankie was a carpenter and a member of the Hesler Assembly of God. He is survived by his wife, Janet Peak Wainscott; five sons, David (Wanda) Wainscott of Owenton, Mark (Nancy) Wainscott of Owenton, Buddy (Amy) Wainscott of Grant County, Steven (Melissa) Peak of Owenton and Bryan (Lisa) Jones of Owenton; five brothers, Bobby Wainscott of Frankfort, Jerry and Kenneth Wainscott of Owenton, Darrell Wainscott of Cincinnati, Jackie Wainscott of Geraldine, AL; two sisters, Brenda Jones of Florence and Dorothy Perkins of Owenton. Eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location, Saturday, July 19th, from 11am until 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm, with Bro. Jesse Bourne officiating. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
