Frances B. Thornton

Frances B. Thornton, 95, of Owenton, passed away Thursday, July 8 at her residence. She was born in New Liberty, KY the daughter of the late Charles Brown and Sue Hawkins Bishop. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James E. Thornton. Frances was a housewife and member of the Owenton First Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Charlie Thornton of Owenton. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes where family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 2:00 PM with Bro. Jesse Bourne presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the Owenton First Baptist Church.
