Frances Hammond

Frances Hammond died peacefully at her home with her family on Friday January 7 2011 at the age of 87. She was born in Owen County the daughter of the late Allen and Louetta Sowder Wilson and was also preceded by her husband William Hammond, a son Dennis Hammond and a brother Lewis Wilson. She was a former employee of Square D and a member of Lusbys Mill Baptist Church. She is survived by her three sons James, Doug and Ron Hammond and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be on Tuesday Jan. 11 at 1:00 PM and visitation Monday from 4 to 8 at Main Street. Burial will be in Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
