Foster Richard Wilhoite

March 19, 1936 — June 4, 2010

Foster Richard Wilhoite, age 74 and a resident of Warsaw, passed away Friday, June 4th, at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Florence. Born in 1936, he was the son of the late Foster and Justine Mason Wilhoite. He was also preceded in death by his wife: Scottie Giles Wilhoite, and one brother: Donald Wilhoite Richard was a veteran having served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was also a retired Foreman for the Former M & T Chemical (Atochem) Company in Carrollton. He is survived by a son: Jason Wilhoite of Florence Ky; one daughter: Lora Woodward of Warsaw; and one brother: Edward J. Wilhoite of Dayton Ohio. Nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren also survive along with several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 6th from 2-5pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 7th, at 11am. Rev. Denny French will be officiating and burial will be in the Paint Lick Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
