Florian 'Ray" Adams

Florian “Ray” Adams, 63 and a resident of Gallatin County, passed away Saturday, September 13th, at his home on Johnson Road. Born October 1944, he was the son of the late Walter and Catherine Williamson Adams. Ray was a member of the Sugar Creek Christian Church and served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by Lula Williamson, Dorothy Bradley, J.T. Adams, Edward Adams, and Polly Jackson. Florian is survived by three brothers: Wayne Adams of Glencoe, Paul Douglas Adams of Baxter Springs KS, and Victor See of Cincinnati. He is also survived by five sisters: Beverly Gordy of Sparta, Sis Hodgett of Warsaw, Margaret Williamson of Sparta, Dolly Baker of Crittenden, and Joyce Mounce of Walton. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16th, from 11am until 2pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will begin at 2pm with Bro. Hardin Lowe officiating.
