Florence Barbara Marie Doggett

Florence Barbara Marie Doggett, age 76, of Owenton passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Owenton Center. Born March 11, 1939, in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late Theodore Mount, Sr. and Melba Paul Mount. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Gerald Jerome "Pete" Doggett; her son Robert Doggett and her sister Carroll Ferrell Combs. Flo was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Debbie (Kendall) Turner, Tammy Bellamy and Terry Baughn; her brother, Ted Mount; grandchildren, Tina Shannon, Erin Sims, Joe and Rhonda Baughn, Tabatha Bellamy and Veronica Doggett; great grandchildren, Olivia and Sophia Shannon, Adalyn Williams and Ryder Sims. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Angie Ferrell, Tracy Woodyard, Tony, Todd,Ted and Brenda Sue Mount. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 18th from 1-2pm. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
