Evelyn Webster

Evelyn Webster, 87, of New Liberty, died Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the New Horizons Medical Center. Born September 3, 1922, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Susan Harris. Mrs. Webster was a homemaker, a farmer and a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Hobert Webster; her son, John Cecil Webster of New Liberty; her daughter Geneva C. Gibson of Independence; two brothers Jarl Lee Harris of Owen County and George Thomas of Frankfort; a sister Ethel Mae Kincaid of Owenton; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, January 19th from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 20th at 1pm with Bro. David “Milkweed” Wotier officiating. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
