Evelyn Ann Ballard

Mrs. Evelyn Ann Ballard, age 85, of Owenton passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the Owenton Center. Born August 10, 1931 in Gallatin County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Gratia Kemper Skirvin and the widow of Gayle Ballard. Mrs. Ballard was a member of the Monterey Baptist Church, a homemaker and farmer. Surviving are her siblings, L.J. and Bobby Skirvin, Brenda Martin, Ruby Bramblett, Judy Hearne, Nancy Howard, Betty Harrison and Geneva Spenneberg. Several nieces and nephews also survive. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 11am until 2pm. Funeral service will follow at 2pm with Bro. Bob Karsner presiding. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Monterey Cemetery.
