Evan Wayne Spenneberg

Evan "Wayne" Spenneberg, age 67, of Owenton passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at his home.Born March 13, 1950, in Madison, IN, he was employed by Liters Quarry.  He enjoyed music and was a vocalist and guitar player in a band at one time.  He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Aldridge, sons, Troy and Brett Spenneberg, his brother Tony Cook as well as his granddaughter and great granddaughter.Surviving are his mother, Juanita Spenneberg Osborne; his children, Austin Spenneberg, Evan Spenneberg and Leslie Koenig; five sisters, Geraldine Haney, Edna Delling, Linda Osborne, Joan Carol Osborne and Melissa Snyder; five brothers, Bobby Burke, Ricky Osborne, Sam Cook, Frank Cook, and William Osborne.  Thirteen grandchildren also survive.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Main Street location.
