Evan S Perkins

Mr. Evan S. Perkins, age 81, of Owenton passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born September 17, 1935 in Owen County, he was the son of the late Hollie and Lula Perkins and the widow of Dorothy Wainscott Perkins. He was also preceded in death by his children, Michael Perkins and Carol Ann Stewart. Evan was a carpenter and a member of the Pentecostal Faith. Evan is survived by his sons, Donnie, Billy and Steven Perkins; nine grandchildren, Jamie Osborne, Lonnie Perkins, Matthew and Alex Perkins, Christy Johnson, Brandon and Brittany Stewart, Cameron and Jase Perkins and six great grandchildren. Also surviving are his three siblings, Mary Lee Lewis, Jane Cook and Willard Perkins. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Saturday from 11am until 2pm. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Bro. Earl Hisle and Bro. Mart Noe presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
