Eunice O Gaines

Eunice O. Gaines, age 65, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 10, 2016. Born February 27, 1951, in Georgetown, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Osborne and Georgia Perry Osborne. She was preceded in death by her son, James Thomas, Jr. Eunice was a homemaker and worked for several years in laundry at the local nursing home. Surviving are her husband, James T. Gaines; her stepmother, Juanita Osborne; her daughter, Jamie (Jason) Berry; sons, Robert Burke and James "Peanut" Gaines; grandchildren, Kinsley Berry, Hunter McClain, Marcus Burke, Robert Burke, Jr., and Leslie Burke; brothers, Willie Osborne and Ricky Dean Osborne; three sisters, Anna Faye Yakush, Mae Simmons and Cricket Lyons - Morrison. Several nieces and nephews also survive. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be held at 2pm Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Seminary Street location with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding.
