Eugene Parks

Park Hills - Eugene Parks, 63, of Park Hills and formerly of Owenton, passed away, Sunday, May 25, 2008 at his residence. Born March 17, 1945, in Laotto, IN he was the son of the late Luther and Geneva Lansaw Parks and was also preceded in death by his sister Wanda Hoffman and brother Jessie Parks. He was a farmer, a carpet installer for man years and was also a Viet Nam Army veteran. He is survived by his wife Florence Bellanger parks; his two sons, Brian Parks of Pennsylvania and Jessie Parks of Elsmere; three brothers, Ray Parks of Ft. Wayne, IN, Kenneth Parks of Georgetown and David parks of Carrollton; two sisters, Norma Diemer of Ft. Wayne, IN and Deborah Garrett of Walton; and six grandchildren, James Ross Warren, Ashley, Damion and Austin Parks, Allannah Ann Marie Parks and Alexis Kaye Parks. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location, Saturday, May 31st, from 2 until 6pm. Funeral services will follow at 6 pm with Bro. Chris Baker officiating.
