Etta "Lois" Booth Henry

Etta "Lois" Henry, age 65 of Sparta, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Providence Healthcare in Warsaw. Born October 22, 1950, in Madison, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Willard "Baldy" Booth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Henry. Lois was a member of the Sanders Baptist Church and was a former waitress. She loved people and never met a stranger. She enjoyed music, dancing, playing cards and most of all bartending. Surviving are her mother and step father, Lula Mae "Shug" and Beebe Howard; her children, Melissa Perkins, Rebecca (Wendford) Helton and Willard "Boo" (Alice) Perkins; her siblings, Marcella (Mike) Howard, Diana "Sudie" (Ronnie) Deitz and Grover "Tuni" (Tonya) Booth, Tim Howard and Donna Higgs; ten grandchildren, Felicia, Remington, Raegan, Macklin and Maggie Perkins, Xavier, Koel and Tanor Webb and Clay and Kinley Helton. She also has one great grandchild, Akeisa Webb. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, February 26, 2016 form 4-8pm. Funeral Services will be held at Noon on Saturday with burial in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sanders Baptist Church.
