Ethel B. Brock

Ethel B. Brock, 90, passed away Sunday May 24, 2015 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital. Born January 5, 1925, in Owen County she was the daughter of the late John and Nola Wright Ellis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Douglas Brock; her three sons, Billy, Bobby and James Brock; a daughter Marie Tuggle; grandson, Keith Brock; great grandson, Billy Ray Brock and her siblings, Cecil, William "Bo", Walton and Myrtle Ellis. Mrs. Brock was a homemaker, a farmer and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Collier of Carrollton and Susan Simmons of Milton; her nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Wednesday, May 27th from 11 am until 2 pm with funeral services at 2 pm. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier and Bro. Pat Butcher officiating.
