Ershel Collins

Ershel Collins, 71, of Worthville, died January 21, 2010 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Born November 29, 1938, he was the son of the late Albert and Dorothy Martin Cole and the widow of Zelma Brown Collins. He was also preceded in death by his son Nick Hale. Ershel was an Army Veteran; retired from Sprague and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge #128. He is survived by his son Bernie Lozier of Perry Park; his daughter Patricia Cutshaw of Wheatley; brother, Russell Cole of Lexington; three sisters, Rita Cole of Martin, Joy Patton of McDowell and Willene Pendleton of Owensville, MO, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Sunday, January 24th from 2-5pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, at 2pm. Burial will be in the Squiresville Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
