Ernest "Buddy" Gray

Ernest "Buddy" Gray, age 67, of Owenton, passed away Saturday 25, 2023 at his home.

Born November 28, 1955, in Lexington, KY, he was the son of the late Ernest and Ethel Miller and was preceded in death by his siblings, Delores "Jean", Ernestine, Patricia, Wanda, and Rhoda. Buddy and his wife moved to Owen County in 1999, where he loved farming, hunting, and woodworking. He was a self-employed general contractor who enjoyed his horses, dogs, and a good bourbon, especially Eagle Rare. He will also be remembered for his herbalist work and his effective cough syrup.

He will be missed by his wife of over 46 years, Michele Schindler Gray; his sons, Shawn Gray and Daniel (Hillary) Gray; and his grandsons, Daniel Zackary Gray and Logan Eric Gray.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Buddy's wishes were to be cremated with a private family remembrance.
