Emma L. Skinner

Mrs. Emma L. "Sue" Skinner, age 81, of Warsaw and formerly of Glencoe, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 at the Gallatin Healthcare. Born July 1, 1931,in New Washington, IN, she was the daughter of the late Joe T. and Julia Inez Smith Taflinger. She was a former operator of a blind vendor's stand in both Northern Kentucky and Louisville. While stationed with her husband in Hawaii, she worked for several years at the Hawaii Airport, also. She was a member of the Pleasant Home Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Frank Skinner; her son Aaron Skinner of Sparta; her daughter Rsemary Whiteloon of Avalon, PA; her brothers, John Paul and Jim Taflinger; her sister, Margaret Farmer; two grandchildren, Jonathan Whiteloon and Malia Rutheford and her great grandchildren, David, Chris, Cole, Angela and Alex Rutheford. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, June 4th from 3-7pm. Funeral services will follow at 7pm.
