Emma Sally Jane Sheppard

Emma Sally Jane Sheppard, 80, passed away Thursday August 5, 2021 at her home. She was born in Russel, Virginia on September 12 , 1940 the daughter of the late Gleaver and Susie Johnson Terry. She was also preceded in death by her husband Daniel Sheppard. Emma enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandchildren, ballgames, travel and sewing. She is survived by her four children, Dusty R. Sheppard (Carmen), Christopher A. Sheppard (Dru Marks), Eric B. Sheppard and Dana M. Herbert (James), her grandkids, Bryan D. Sheppard (Christine), Heather N. Zimmerman (Ian), Laura M. Henderson (Larry), Brett Colston, Dustin R. Sheppard, Jared A. Sheppard (Alisha), Sabrina Roberts (Pete) and Victoria McDaniel and nine great grandkids. The funeral service will be on Friday August 13 at 4PM at McDonald & New- Main St. Visitation will begin at 1PM.
