Emma D. Smoot Robbins

Emma D. Smoot Robbins, 74, passed away Sunday November 17 at the Owenton Center. She was born in Montgomery County the daughter of the late Ollie and Lora Alsup Walters. She was also preceded by eight siblings and her husband Lee Robert Robbins. She was formerly employed by the State of KY Division of Forestry. She loved fishing, camping, playing cards, dancing and quilting. Surviving are her children Jesse Smoot and his partner Joseph Wallace, Jerry Oney and wife Pam, Gina Smoot, Darrell Smoot and wife Pat, and Kim Hawkins and husband Steve, two sisters, Georgia Helen Warren and Della Harrison, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews including three special nieces, Tilda Smith, Mollie Gayle and Wilma Jean O'Banion. A memorial service will be held Wednesday night at 6PM at McDonald & New -Seminary St. with visitation starting at 5PM.
