Emma Rogers Dews

Emma Gean Rogers Dews, age 44 of Owenton passed away Monday, November 1, 2010 at her home. Born August 22, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Brenda Hulette Rogers and was preceded in death also by her brother, Danny Scott Rogers. Emma was a former employee of Elk Creek Winery and was a member of the Caney Fork Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Marty Dews; two sons, Benjamin Lee Dews of Georgetown and Steven Joseph Dews of Owenton; her daughter, Traci Marie Dews of Owenton; her brother, Neville Rogers and sister Ardena Rogers of Frankfort; Nieces Shelby Hafley and Laura Rogers and a great niece and nephew, Aliyah and Hunter Houghlin. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Caney Fork Baptist Church on Friday Nov. 5 from 11am to 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. Ed Wells officiating.. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Dews Family in care of the funeral home.
