Ellie Louise Stout

Ella Louise "Ellie" Stout, age 16 of Owenton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 14, 2016. Born March 30, 1999, Ellie was a Junior at Owen County High School where she was active in STLP, Rebels Outreach, Honor Society and the Civics Club. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and active in the youth group. She participated extensively in Bible Drill and competed at a national level. Surviving are her parents, Jeffrey and Ginger Depew Stout; her brother, Keith Stout; her paternal grandparents, John and Dottie Stout; her maternal grandmother, Brenda Hammond; her boyfriend, Trevor Smith and her best friends, Blair Harris, Autumn Maddox and Courtney Towles. Ellie was loved by everyone and leaves behind a host of friends and extended family. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 19th in the Owen County High School gymnasium.
