Ellen Marjorie Ennis

Ellen Marjorie Ennis, age 73, of Ludlow, KY passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, Kentucky.Born June 9, 1944 in Wrentham, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Bertram and Hellen Whitmarsh Swan.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Vanessa Combs and her brothers, Ralph and Walter Swan.  Ellen was a homemaker and a member of the Christian faith.She is survived by her husband, Jerry Ennis; her sons, Joel G. (Pam) Richards and Brian "Opie" (Cheryl) Richards; her son-in-law, Dee Combs; her grandchildren, Payton Lightener, Lisa Blind and Ashley Combs; her great grandchildren, Ben and Olive; her brother-in-law Perry Ennis; and a host of extended family and friends.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  A memorial service will be held at 3 pm Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Pleasant Home Baptist Church in Glencoe.  Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choosing.
