Elizabeth Barker

Elizabeth B. Barker, 74 and a resident of Glencoe, Ky., passed away Wednesday, May 27th. Born June 13, 1934 in Somerset, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Cletus Brotherton and Samantha Black. Mrs. Barker was a homemaker and member of the Paint Lick Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Barker, whom she married January 31, 1951. Elizabeth is also survived by two sons: Ric Barker of Cincinnati, Oh, David Barker of Glencoe, Ky; one daughter: Pamala Riggs of Crittenden, Ky., and one sister-in-law: Mary Brotherton of Somerset, Ky. four grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 1st, from 11am until 1pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will begin at 1pm with Rev. Denny French officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Paint Lick Baptist Church U.S. Hwy # 42 East Warsaw, Ky 41095.
