Eli Wolfinbarger

Elihu "Eli" Wolfinbarger, age 85, of Owenton, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY.

Born November 6, 1936 in Estill County, he was the son of the late Park and Stella Hurley Wolfinbarger.  He was also preceded in death by his daughters, Donna Nielsen and Lisa Barton, and his siblings, Cleta Faye, Bertha, Hubert, Clarence, Park, Jr., Robert and Nannie Bea. Eli retired from, Rainbow Baking Company and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.  He enjoyed all types or hunting and farming.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Rose Wolfinbarger; his son, Ricky (Julie) Wolfinbarger; stepson, Jason (Sonja) Day; his brother, James Wolfinbarger; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 11 am - 1 pm.  Funeral  services will follow at 1 pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding.
