Elaine Mae Webster

Elaine Mae Webster, 84, of Owenton, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.Born November 5, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late George and Evelyn Nelson Ryan.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Alva Martin,  and Randall Webster as well as her children, Stanley James Martin and Mary Ann Martin.  Elaine was a homemaker, a longtime volunteer at the Owenton Manor and attended Hesler Assembly of God Church.  She loved animals, working puzzles, 'beating' her family at rummy and feeding her birds, especially the cardinals.She is survived by her children, Alva Lee Martin, Jr., Steven James Martin, Betty Ann Neal, Nancy Mae Roy and Kathleen Mae Woodall; nine grandchildren, Angela, Joe, Jennifer, Tabitha, JEssie, Krystal, Dakota, Carter and Stanley Jr..  Several great-grandchildren also survive.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 11am until 1 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding.  Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to the Owen County Friends of Animals.
