Edna Florence Donsback

Edna Florence Tyson Donsback, 86, died March 24, 2011 at Gallatin Healthcare. She was born in Warsaw the daughter of the late Jesse O. and Myrtle Couch Tyson and was also preceded in death by her husband Fred Donsback Jr. Edna loved music and gave piano and voice lessons for many years. She attended U.K. for 3 years then transferred to U.C. where she graduated. She also attended the Cincinnati College of Music where she was a member of the Delta Omicron Sorority. Her early work included a job at WLW where she became a friend of Ruth Lyons. Her teaching career began in Erlanger, KY moved to the Vine Street School in Cincinnati and concluded in Latonia at the Eighth District School. She was a member of the Christopher Gist Historical Society, Warsaw Methodist Church where she was pianist for 33 years then was active in the First United Methodist Church in Covington. Survivors include a sister-in-law Frances Sabie, many cousins including Gene and Winifred Morrison, several nieces and nephews and a long time friend Sue Puffenburger. The funeral will be on Wednesday at 1:00 with visitation at 11AM at the Warsaw Methodist Church.
