Edith Threlkeld Capito

Edith Capito, widow of the late Price Capito, passed away Saturday, December 5, at Carroll County Hospital. Born in Pleasureville, KY, she was the daughter of the late George Threlkeld and Mary Sewell. Edith was also preceded in death by one step-son: Jack Dooley, and one sister: Martha McGowan. Edith and her late husband, Price, owned and operated Capito Body Shop in Carrollton for over 30 years. Edith and Price were also members of the Carrollton United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Capito Goff, and husband Dennis, of Carrollton, KY; one grandson, Greg Goff and wife Michelle, also of Carrollton; and one grand daughter; Barbara Isert and husband Steven of Lexington. Also surviving are three great grandchildren: Ryan and Jena Goff of Carrollton, and Shelby Isert of Lexington. Graveside Services were held at the Carrollton I.O.O.F. Cemetery Sunday, December 8th with Rev. Clifford Sparks officiating. Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Carrollton United Methodist Church, at 310 Highland Avenue Carrollton, Ky 41008; or Hospice of the Bluegrass (Northern Kentucky) at 7388 Turfway Road, Florence, Ky 41042.
