Eddie W Keith

Eddie W. Keith, age 86, of the Sweet Owen Community in Owen County passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017.Born May 28, 1931, in Owen County, he was the son of the late Willie and Myrtie Roland Keith.  Eddie was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.  He worked as an inspector for the B & O Railroad and was a lifelong farmer.  Eddie loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.  He also served his country in the United States Army.Surviving are his wife Betty Chandler Keith; his children Phillip Keith and Debbie Keith; his brothers, Brad, Julian and Delbert Keith.  He is also survived his grandchildren, Kelly Cammack and James Keith and great grandchildren, Tyler, Annastyn, Haisley and Raylan who is expected any day.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 10 am until the time of the funeral at 2pm.  Burial will be in the church cemetery with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
