Dwight Wayne Wilhoite

Dwight Wayne Wilhoite, 60, passed away Saturday August 20, 2022. He was born in Owenton the son of the late Justice "Jake" and Kathleen Hall Wilhoite. He graduated from Owen County High School in 1980. He most recently worked at Southern States delivering fertilizer. He loved fishing watching sports and especially cartoons. He was probably most known for being on the News Herald softball team. He was a tough out and could hit the ball anywhere he wanted. He will be missed by his daughter, Courtney (Billy) Roberts, his granddaughter, Braylee Roberts and his siblings, Ricky (Cindy) Wilhoite, Robbie (Darrell Banta) Justice and Erica Wilhoite. Visitation is Thursday August 25 from 5 to 8 and the funeral is Friday at 1PM both at the Seminary Street location. Entombment will follow in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Markey Cancer Center or the March of Dimes.
