Dotty L Marston

Dotty L. Marston, 85, of Owenton, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Owenton Center.Born March 19, 1932 in Nicholas County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Marjorie Dallas Dotson.  She was the widow of Jack Marston who preceded her in death in 1995. Her brother, Benny Dotson also preceded her in death.   Dotty was a homemaker and a member of the Owenton First Baptist Church.  She loved traveling, fishing, golfing, playing cards and spoiling her grandchildren.Surviving are her children,Margie (Rob) Marston Matteson, Todd (Lesa) Marston, and Mary Beth (Bob) Meek; seven grandchildren, Jaclyn (Brenden) Zenni, Landon (Hannah) Marston, Lauren Marston, Katie (Joe) Starks, Meredith Marston, Megan Meek and Graham Meek; four great grandchildren, Kellen, Cameron, Emerson and Oliver.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 1-4 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 4pm with Bro. Brad Banks presiding.  Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, Meeting the Needs Backpack Feeding Program or the charity of your choice.
