Dorothy Clifton Cook

Dorothy Clifton Cook, age 65, of Lockport, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 at her residence. Born July 18, 1946, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Frances Clifton and the widow of Floyd Dell Cook. Her son, Billy Renfro and her siblings, Marsha Lilly and Ronald Clifton, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Cook was a homemaker. Surviving are her children, Shayne (Trish) Cook of Squiresville and Angie Renfro of Lockport; brothers, Mitchell Clifton and Wayne Alexander; sisters, Betty, Nadine and Edna; two grandchildren, Wesley Renfro and Brittany Walker and six great grandchildren, Aria Rayne, Cameron, Landon, Layla, Alexis and Lacey Kelly. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Graveside services will be held in the New Columbus Cemetery at 2pm on Monday February 13th with Bro. David “Milkweed” Wotier presiding.
