Dorothy Margaret Chandler

Dorothy Margaret Leake Chandler, 76 Of Owenton passed away Tuesday at the Richwood Nursing Home in LaGrange. Dorothy was a former secretary for Eastern State Hospital in Lexington, She was a Homemaker, a member of the Rebecca’s Lodge and also a life long member of the Cedar Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; Roy Edward and Lillian Locke Leake and her husband Bobby R. Chandler. Dorothy is survived by her daughter; Lisa Kaye Meadows of Carrollton, her sister; Juanita Dougherty of Owenton, and her Grandson; Benjamin Meadows of Carrollton. Also surviving are several Nieces and Nephews of Owenton. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1pm at the McDonald and New Funeral on Seminary Street. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8 also on Seminary Street. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Cedar Hill Baptist Church.
