Donald Courtney Wallace

Donald Courtney Wallace, age 81 of Erlanger, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at his residence. Born September 4, 1935, in Gallatin County, he was the son of the late William H. and Thelma Courtney Wallace and the widower of Annabelle Smith Wallace. Also preceding him in death were his brothers, Frank and Pete Wallace. Mr. Wallace served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Ford Motor Company with 39 years and a member of the 1st Baptist Church 4th Street. He was the former owner of Dairy Crest in Latonia and had a passion for rescuing and rehabbing cats. Surviving are his son, Kenneth R. Wallace; his sister Eula Mae Wallace; his granddaughter Sherri (Brad) Taylor and three great grandchildren, Braden, Lucas and Bailey Taylor. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday with Bro. Randy Wallace and Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Kentucky Tails Rescue or Owen County Friends of Animals.
