Donald Gene O'Connor

Donald Gene O'Connor, age 80 and a resident of Cincinnati, passed away Wednesday, July 11th, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. Born December 14th, 1931 he is the son of the late August Earl O'Connor and Helen Victoria Henry Duncan. Donnie was a retired mechanic for The Roadway Company and Proudly Served His Country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by three sons: Kenneth O'Connor (wife-Dawn), Rodney O'Connor (wife-Paulette) and Douglas O'Connor all of Cincinnati Ohio; one daughter: Donna Cassidy (husband-Steve) of Cincinnati; a half-sister: Elaine Marksberry and two half-brothers: James Owen O'Connor of Sparta and Danny Duncan of Texas. Donald is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 15th, from 1pm until 5pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw Ky. Funeral services will be held on Monday July 16th, and will begin at 1pm.
