Donald Lusby

Donald Lubsy, 94, of Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, May 11th at Bradford Square Nursing Home. Born July 12, 1915, in Owen County, he was the son of the late Ira and Cora Thompson Lusby and was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Eloise Lusby. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Ruby Morrison and Elmo Keith and his brothers Orville Lee Lusby and Heber Lusby. Mr. Lusby was a farmer and a member of the Hesler Assembly of God. He is survived by his brother, Basil Lusby of Muncie, IN; two sisters, Faywood Souder of Cincinnati, OH and Pauline Souder of Highland Heights. He is also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location, Friday, May 14th, from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday with Bro. Joel Rivera officiating. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hesler Assembly of God or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
