Donald Gene Henry

Donald Gene Henry, age 61 and a resident of Sparta, Ky, passed away Friday June 19, 2009 at his home. He was born in Cincinnati the son of the late Evelyn Henry. Donald was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Wayne Henry. He was formerly employed at Natorps Nursery, Reds Tavern and did farm work. He served his Country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by four children, Jamie and Denise both of North Carolina, Cindy and Michelle both of Warsaw, and one sister, Brenda Henry of Sparta. Two grandchildren also survive. Visitation will begin 11:00am Wednesday, June 24th, at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 2:00pm. Bro. Denny French will be officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sparta Christian Church – Sparta, Ky.
