Donald Woodrow Cox, age 59, of Owenton, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011, at the New Horizons Medical Center. Born December 25, 1951, in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of the late Donavee and Mabel Henry Cox. Donald was a woodworker, a Drug and Alcohol Prevention Counselor and a proud member of AA and NA. Surviving are his wife, Debbie J. Watkins Cox, whom he married on August 31, 1998; his son, Dell Cox of Hempstead, TX; his daughter, Roseann Cox of Houston, TX; his sister, Linda J. Cox Gordon of Owenton and three grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. A memorial Service will be held at 2pm Saturday, March 5th with Pastor Joel Rivera presiding.
