Diane Kelley

November 1, 1946 — September 16, 2018

Ruby "Diane" Kelley, age 71, of Owenton passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital in Ft. Thomas.

Born November 1, 1946, in Cynthiana, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Roberts Herrington and preceded in death by her siblings, Patsy Kemper and Frankie Herrington.  Diane was retired from Owen Electric Cooperative as an administrative assistant in the Engineering Department.  She was also a former manager of the Adair Apartments and a longtime volunteer at the Owenton Clothing Center.  She was a member of the Squiresville Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.

Diane is survived by her children, Mike (Brenda) Kelley and Michelle (Mark) Dunavent; grandchildren, Katy (Jeffrey) Stewart, Alexis (John Buckner) Kelley, Logan Dunavent and Brie Dunavent; her great grandchildren, Makenzie, Presley, Gunner and Sawyer Kate who is expected soon.  Diane is also survived by her dear friend and companion, Rodney Wagner.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street funeral home on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 11 am until 2 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with Bro. Craig Howard officiating.  Burial will be in the Holbrook-Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to Squiresville Baptist Church
