Dezarae Brock

Dezarae Brock, age 33, of Owenton, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at her home.

Born March 19, 1990, in Knoxville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Larry Gene Hamblin and Suzanne Brock Ellis. Dezarae enjoyed shopping, going fishing, and loved animals, especially her dog Lucy.

Dezarae is survived by her spouse, Johnn Wagers; her grandmother, Shirley Mae Smith Ponder; her brother, Larry Hamblin; niece and nephew, Megan and Tyler Hamblin; step-dad, Calvin Ellis; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 11 am at the Seminary Street location.  Visitation will begin at 10 am. Memorial contributions are suggested to New Funeral Homes to help with expenses.
